Costa a Costa Pirineos
Together with our guide in seven beautiful and spectacular stages from Costa to Costa through the Spanish Pyrenees. Participate in our joint weeks or have a week organized for your group.
After the great success of our first Costa a Costa Pirineos week in 2022, we will also be offering this Spanish Pyrenees trip in 2023!
In seven stages you will experience all the beauty of the Spanish Pyrenees. We start in the afternoon of the arrival day with a prologue in the cycling-crazy San Sebastian, on the Atlantic sea (the west). The next morning the tour starts with which you cycle from west to east through the Spanish Pyrenees in 7 stages. For the evenings we have our regular restaurants with good menus and there is time to share the stories of the day and the briefing for the next day.
On this cycling trip, our Coast to Coast guide will accompany you for aid stations along the way, moving the luggage and the necessary encouragement during the stages. A good condition is required for the 7 stages in the mountains (ask us for advice if necessary). You don't have to worry about the organization and just enjoy the incredibly beautiful mountain landscapes and the suffering on the cols.
You will receive the route book with the GPX tracks from us in advance (with possibly a Garmin loan). And your Bianchi rental bike will be fully ready in San Sebastian upon request.
We advise you to travel by train or plane to the starting point (and have us prepare your rental bike there) and also from the end point – Girona – you can choose between plane and train. Ask us for travel advice if necessary. The trip includes 7 nights where you can travel back the evening after the 7th stage. If you want to stay another night in Girona, you can book an extra night.

This will be an easy day for navigating. Certainly not in terms of effort. Three real climbs and a bouncer await you. From the departure you actually start immediately at the Barranco Las Gloces.
Day 6: 5e etappe: El Pont de Suert – La Seu d’Urgell. Route A and B: 115 km & 2,442 altimeters
Today we leave Aragon and cycle into Catalonia. There are three beautiful climbs on the program. The first first is the Port de la Crue de Perves, then a magnificent climb to 1700 with altitude and the bouncer and the longest is the Puerto del Cantó.
Day 7: La Seu d’Urgell – Ripoll. Route A: 150 km & 2,900 altimeters / Route B: 120 km & 2,300 altimeters
Today is a tough day with a long stage and many altimeters. Four real climbs await you. The first is the Mirador de la Trava, then the Coll de Port, then up the climb Serra dels Lladres and before you can enjoy a hot shower and a recovery drink you still have to deal with the Col de Merolla. Before going to sleep you will look back tired but satisfied on this stage.
Day 8:: Ripoll – L’Escala – Girona Route A: 152 km & 1,575 altimeters / Route B: 133 km & 1,450 altimeters km & 1.450 hm
The last leg of this beautiful cycling journey again. Another long stage. However: this is mainly going downhill. Well wait first Collect the Canes on you to show off your increased climbing abilities. At Olot there is another small climb, the Volca de Croscat. Then you fly to the coast in L'Escala. There you can touch the Costa Brava and in good weather you can take a dip. Finally, we cycle to Girona and we put a very nice end to the journey.
